Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress who is best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she quit high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. While struggling financially she landed her first role as the title character in the web-based video series Rachel's Room in 2001. The role she played of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) alongside her.
